Flowers at the Funeral, Yes or No?
Over the years experience has shown that many people would rather have donations made to the Hospice than lots of flowers at their funeral. In this case floral tributes are limited to immediate family and everyone else is invited to make a donation to the Hospice so that we can continue to provide care for others.
All donations that the Hospice receive are recorded to the memory of the person who has died and are acknowledged with a personal thank you letter.
Asking family and friends to make donations to the Hospice instead of sending flowers is a wonderful way to help make a difference to others suffering with a life-limiting illness and their families, now and in the future.
If you would like the Hospice to receive donations instead of floral tributes, please contact us for some personal in memoriam donation envelopes and more information.
These can be obtained by telephoning the Fundraising Department on 020 8319 9230 or email info@gbch.org.uk or visit the Hospice Reception at 185 Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood, SE2 0GB.
