The Big Sponsored Walk

Come and join the fun - there will be something for all the family.  All routes start at 10am on Bostall Heath, Abbey Wood London SE2 0GB (opposite the Hospice entrance).

Walk in memory of a loved one or simply join us for a fun day out whilst raising vital funds for your local Hospice. There are 4 routes available for people of all ages and abilities to take part in consisting of 3, 5, 7 or 10 miles.

Walkers will be able to discover many places of local interest including the Lesnes Abbey ruins and Fossil Beds and for the 10 mile walkers; views from Shooters Hill, one of the highest points in London at 423 ft with fabulous views over the River Thames and central London.

Stephanie Fuller, from the Hospice fundraising team, said: “We hope that hundreds of people will join in the fun at what promises to be a great family day out whilst raising vital funds for their local hospice.”

There will be entertainment and refreshments from 9am onwards on Bostall Heath including a breakfast tent, bouncy castle, BBQ tent and many fun and exciting challenges along the route for all the family to take part in including a 10-minute Zumba warm up at 9.15am and at 9.40am.

The on line registration facility is now closed but you can still come along and register on the day - £15 per adult - £5 per child.
