Easter Eggstravaganze raised £5,789
25 April 2011
The seasonal fun and games included a giant Easter Egg Hunt that saw 400 children and 800 eggs plus numerous stalls, activities and displays including Tan’Gun Taekwondo Martial Arts and the delights of children's entertainer, Dizzy Lolly and her Cheeky Monkey.
Susan Adams, Community Fundraiser at Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, said, “The Easter Fair was our first major outdoor event of the year so we really wanted some good weather. We were lucky - it was warm and sunny and perfect for Easter egg hunts and outdoor activities. Thanks to everyone who supported it.”
The afternoon was helped along by 60 volunteers who worked hard to prepare and supervise the numerous stalls and activities in support of the Hospice.
