Hospice Day Care patient renews Wedding vows

Hospice Day Care patient Eva Bradstreet renewed her Wedding vows at the Hospice on 25th April to her husband of 30 years, Paul.
The Thanksgiving for Marriage service took place to coincide with the couple’s 30th wedding anniversary.
“I just want to say a massive thank you to all involved – it was a perfect day. Paul and I were honoured to have the service at the Hospice,” said Eva.
The service, which included music, prayer and the exchange and blessing of rings, was conducted by the Hospice’s Co-ordinating Chaplain The Reverend Anne Williamson, and was attended by Eva’s immediate family and friends.
“I was delighted to be asked to conduct the service for Eva and Paul,” said Anne. It was a great privilege.”
Staff scattered rose petals throughout the Day Hospice and presented the couple with a bottle of prosecco, a party was held in the Day Hospice on 3 May.
