Asda Road Show raises £4,000

04 August 2011

The Asda Price Guarantee Road Show raised £4,000 from their event in The Mall on the Broadway in Bexleyheath from 4th - 6th August.

The Road Show was a specially designed ‘guess the savings game show’ designed to show customers how they can save by taking advantage of Asda’s guarantee to be 10% cheaper than its competitors – or it will refund the difference.

It was the first Road Show of its kind and featured an Asda Price Guarantee ‘host’ who gave the event a game show like feel. The host showed a series of five ‘challengers’ a series of random shopping products, after which they were asked to guess the savings made on those products at Asda.

The savings across the three days were added up, multiplied and donated to the Hospice, to raise £4000.

Asda Bexleyheath community colleague, Tracy Sorenti, said: “The Asda Price Guarantee Road Show was a fun way to show our customers that we are serious about our price guarantee. By being able to raise money for the Hospice at the same time we were able to ensure that this saving also goes to a fantastic local cause who we are proud to support.”
