Staff at The Cutty Sark pub on Joyce Dawson Way held various meat raffles selling tickets at a pound a strip to raise funds for the Hospice.

Millwall defender Tony Craig presented the cheque to Dr David Robson, Chair of the Hospice Trustees, who thanked staff and customers for their support.  Tony, as a local Greenwich man, said he was pleased to attend and support his local Hospice.

Julie Lawrie-Raison Community Fundraiser said: "We're absolutely delighted with the amount raised. It just shows what can be achieved when the community comes together. It's a fantastic achievement. We’d like to thank all the patrons of The Cutty Sark Public House for their wonderful support."
