Do you want to make a difference to local people facing end of life and their families and be part of our expanding Community Services. Due to increased investment and development of services we are looking for;

 Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist/Clinical Nurse Specialist

Community Team

At the Hospice we believe that every dying person in Greenwich and Bexley should have the best care, support and quality of life possible and that our role is to lead the way by giving expert care, support and education to people with terminal illness, their families, friends and professional carers.

Our services and support extend outside of the Hospice inpatient unit and outpatient services, into the community in patients’ homes, care homes, prisons and in hospital. Our staff work in our own services and in partnership with other health and care organisations to help people maintain connections with their community and to maximise their quality of life.

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional individuals who are able to support our diverse local population. We offer great opportunities to develop further skills and knowledge in Palliative care and many of our hospice team have developed to more senior roles while they have been with us. The organisation actively supports academic development including non-medical prescribing, advanced clinical assessment, relevant Masters programmes and other recognised courses. We provide regular clinical supervision and are able to continue participation in the NHS pension scheme for existing members.

It would be great if you have Palliative Care experience but we will always look at the individual and your transferable skills. You will need to be a car driver and for the nursing posts, you will need to be available for on call and weekend work.

We are situated in beautiful woodland grounds with easy access and free car parking.

If you are interested in applying, please do so by applying via our online system:

Membership of the NHS pension scheme is available for existing members, generous stakeholder pension scheme for all other staff and generous annual leave entitlement.
