Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care Bank

Location: Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, 185 Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood SE2 0GB

Salary: Agenda for Change Band 7

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5, including weekend work and on-call rota

Varied depending on hours required

We are now recruiting to our community bank nursing service, based at the Hospice in Abbey Wood, which provides specialist palliative care advice and support to patients with life limiting illness their families at home, and also to professionals working in the community, care homes and hospitals in Greenwich and Bexley.

We are looking for a registered nurse, experienced in palliative care, who is a reflective practitioner with sound communication and interpersonal skills, to join our specialist community team. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, as well as integrating successfully into the team. We are developing a new nurse bank to support our present team of specialist nurses, to cover staff sickness and during recruitment.

You must be a car driver/owner and be available for duties at weekends and for the overnight on-call advisory service on a rota basis.
