Deputy Shop Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week (Full Time) and or Part Time Available

Hours to be worked flexibly Monday – Sunday

Generous annual leave:  27 days a year plus 8 days bank holiday


Do you have great customer care skills, a flair for visual merchandising and the ability to spot the value of goods?


This is a hugely exciting time to join the Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice Retail team as we transform our retail network. We have big ambition and we seek someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and is target driven, with excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of running a shop.


Hospice’s retail team is responsible for generating vital funds to support the Hospice’s work in providing end of life care.  Hospice care is truly special. It’s not about dying, but living every day to its fullest. It is about making memories with loved ones and support when facing difficult choices. You will see the very real impact of your efforts – a constant driving force behind our team’s unrelenting motivation to succeed.


We are looking for someone who is keen to step up, able to prioritise and has the ability to thrive even when under pressure.

You will be self-sufficient, willing to roll up your sleeves and can easily adapt to change. Previous experience supporting volunteers and a track record of providing excellent customer service in a face-to-face role would be advantageous.
