An exciting opportunity has come along for a senior lecturer to join the Advancing Practice Team. post holder must be a registered nurse who is passionate about caring for people approaching the end of their lives and supporting staff to do this well. The Team supports the development of our own Hospice staff and provides courses on palliative and end of life care for external staff. It also supports those working in Care homes in Bexley with the implementation of the End of Life Care Strategy and End of Life Care Tools including Advance Care Planning.
Senior Lecturer – Part time or full time GBCH Band 7
Hours: Part time or full time, with flexibility as training and course delivery requires
Salary: £36,857 – £47,150

The post holder will work closely with the Lead for Advancing Practice in the delivery and planning of courses and training at the Hospice. They will work in collaboration with the members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver education and training to Hospice staff and external staff. They will support learners undertaking courses of study, by supporting their assessment and learning.
