Salary: GBCH Band 3 Salary £22,373 - £25,524

Hours: 35 Hours per week, worked Monday – Sunday

 

Our Shops:

Our Stores are located in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley and we are looking to recruit talented Shop Manager for our Plumstead Store. The successful candidate will need excellent visual merchandising and customer care skills. .

 

The successful candidate will have  previous management experience, great leadership skills and the ability to spot the value of goods. If this sounds like you, then we are interested in hearing from you!

 

The Role:

As the Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the charity shop.

 

SALES FOCUSED – Our goal is to generate funds for the hospice so they can continue to deliver exceptional care. As a manager you need to be sales focused and motivated to achieve your targets and to share this drive and enthusiasm with your team.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE – You will be expected to deliver a great experience for our customers and donors

 

PEOPLE SKILLS – You will be expected to manage paid staff and be motivated to recruit, train and maintain skilled volunteers to help you in achieving your goals.

 

MANUAL HANDLING – This role is HANDS ON! You will be required to sort donations and prepare clothing for sale which will include tagging and pricing items before placing them on the shop floor for sale.

 

MERCHANDISING – We want our shops to attract as many customers as possible. The shop floor needs to be tidy, well presented and visually impactful
