25 June 2017
Following the success of last year's colourful event which raised over £27,000 for the Hospice, we are delighted that the Colour Run is back for its third year!
Date: Sunday 25 June
Location: Danson Park, Bexleyheath
Distance: a very colourful 5km
Registration fee: £15 in advance, or £25 on the day
Our Colour Run is only open to those aged 12 and over, but we hope the whole family will come along for this fantastic event! There will be designated areas for family and friends to join in the fun, line the route and throw colourful powder paints. If you are under 16 years you must be accompanied by a Colour Run registered adult.
What's it all about?
Open to anyone over 12 years of age, you can crawl, walk, jog or if you have a burst of energy even run or dance your way round the 5km course to get covered in colour while raising money for your local hospice. We can’t wait to see you in spotless white at the start line before you get doused in coloured powder paint along the route; we guarantee you will have lots of fun by the time you reach the finish and the fun doesn’t stop there!
There will also be food, drink, music and face painting so you can make a day of it as we get colourful in support of our local hospice. Your supporters can join in the fun as they welcome you at the finish line with an extra burst of colour.
Don’t panic! Our paint is completely safe and sound – made of corn starch it is non-toxic and will wash away with just a splash of water!
So throw some colour into your summer and join us for our third Colour Run!
Registration will be £15 in advance, or £25 on the day. Registration includes sunglasses, a bag of powder paint for you to celebrate with at the finish line and a medal.
Places are limited and in previous years we have sold out well ahead of the event, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
