Light Up A Life

25 November 2017

Join us to remember and celebrate the loved ones we miss at Christmas.

If you would like to dedicate a light on our Light up a Life tree to anyone who you will be remembering this Christmas, please visit our Light up a Life website.

Please also consider making a donation towards the cost of patient care over the Christmas season. Even though we are a charity, many people don’t realise the majority of the services we provide are paid for by generous donations – from people just like you. In fact, fundraised income pays for the care of two out of every three people we support.

Please show your support and help us care for local people at the end of their lives this Christmas.

Date: Saturday 25 November

Location: At the Hospice

Time: 4.30pm, after our Christmas Fair which starts at 1pm

Enjoy a mince pie, mulled wine, and Christmas carols before we switch on our Christmas tree lights - all in memory of those who won't be with us at this special time of year.

The service will be led by our chaplain Rev Herbert Aparanga and will include readings, carols, and prayers.

Our Light Up A Life Christmas tree will be lit up as part of the service, to mark the start of Christmas at the Hospice, and will shine brightly throughout the festive season.

If you would like to find out more about dedicating a light in memory of a loved one, please visit the Light Up A Life website or call 020 8320 5785.

What to bring

Please remember to wrap up warm. Much of the service will be held inside the Hospice building but you will be invited outside for the switch-on of our Christmas tree lights.

Please note that parking at the Hospice is limited. There is free parking available on Bostall Hill. If you require disabled parking, please contact us in advance on 020 8319 9230.

My family and I thank you all for your kindness, care and respect you showed us and my husband.
