Nominating Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice as your company’s Charity of the Year is a great way to show your long-term commitment to a good cause in your community that your workers, clients and customers care about.
Companies are often approached with requests for support from a number of charities and it is often difficult to know which one to choose. So, many decide to adopt a local charity for a whole year and focus their efforts in one place. A longer-term partnership like this can have a real impact on the amount fundraised, as well as inspiring greater team work and staff engagement and motivation, while demonstrating your commitment to our local community.
Let’s achieve great things together

A word from Charity of the Year 2017 partners, McBrides Chartered Accountants.
The Hospice was an obvious choice for us to partner with in 2017, because it was close to the hearts of several staff members and had helped their families in recent years. An essential support service right in the heart of our community, we were incredibly proud to fundraise for the Hospice and found that there were so many ways for our staff and clients to get involved. From cake sales, to a Christmas jumper day, a round pound amnesty, the Danson Colour Park Run, the NightRider cycling event and our firm-wide 10km hike from our offices in Sidcup pushing wheelbarrows of flowers to the Hospice, there really was a fundraising opportunity for everyone throughout the year. We wish the Hospice fundraising team the very best in finding new fundraising partners and wholeheartedly recommend them to any business considering a charity partnership.Tanya Hamilton, staff partner
