Jo raised over £1,300 in sponsorship took on this challenge because our Hospice team helped many of her friends and family in their final weeks, days and hours of life.

Medical Restrictions:

  • To wing walk you must be between 18 and 80
  • From 66 to 75 you will need a GP’s declaration of good health
  • To wing walk you must weigh under 13 stone 4 pounds (85kgs)

The principal medical restrictions for all wing walks are diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness and some cases of asthma but if you are in any doubt please contact us for further information. All wing walkers are required to sign a medical form before their wing walk declaring their fitness to take part.

What to expect

When you arrive at the airfield you will receive a warm welcome by The Wing Walk Company Team, followed by a 15 minute briefing delivered by our team to run through; how to climb up to the rig, what to expect from your Wing Walk and Health and Safety procedures.

You will be airborne for 10 minutes, and you will have the opportunity to tailor your flight with the Pilot to either achieve the maximum adrenaline experience for you or a more relaxed flight. There will be a designated viewing area for friends and family to come and watch.
