We have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Colour Run on Sunday 27th September 2020.

We have thought very carefully about this and have decided that holding the Colour Run, although it takes place outside, will be vastly different following the Covid-19 crisis and the Government social distancing rules, making it almost impossible to make the Colour Run safe for our supporters, staff and volunteers. We would have to reduce the event capacity considerably. This would have an impact on the £40,000 target we wanted to raise, to help our nurses to continue to provide their amazing care to families in Greenwich and Bexley boroughs. We know this is disappointing and we’re sorry.

If you have already booked to take part in this year’s event, you are entitled to a full refund and you can request one by getting in touch here. Alternatively, if you are happy to, we can transfer your place to next year’s event or you can donate your registration fee to the Hospice – new Government rules mean that the Hospice can now claim 25% Gift Aid on donated registration fee. Just email team@gbch.org.uk to tell us what you would like to do and I will get this sorted for you.

The Colour Run 2020 will be back next year!  We have provisionally booked Sunday 27 June 2021.  This is a provisional date and is dependent on Government advice. We will confirm this in January 2021.
