Remember and celebrate the life of a loved one with Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice and help provide dedicated nursing care to our patients and their families.
You, your family and friends are invited to join us this year as we Light up a Life to remember and celebrate the lives of those who were so precious to us.
This year we will hold two services at the Hospice, both on Saturday 24 November.
The first will start at 4.30pm, following our Christmas Fair (which starts at 1pm and of course we’d love you to attend that too!).
The second will be held at 7pm.
In the last few years, attendance numbers have been high and so rather than try to fit everyone in, we have decided to add in another service. Both will be led by our Hospice Chaplain Rev. Herbert Aparanga and will include readings, carols and prayers.
Our spectacular ‘Light up a Life’ tree will be lit up as part of the service and will shine brightly throughout the festive season; marking the start of Christmas at the Hospice. It would be very helpful to know in advance which service you plan to attend so that we can manage the event well on the day.
Please let us know by selecting the RSVP button above.
If you would like to dedicate a light on our ‘Light up a Life’ tree to someone special please visit our dedication page in doing so, your loved ones’ names will be entered into our ‘Book of Dedication’, which will be on display at our Light up a Life events and in the Hospice where it will be available to view until 5th January. We will also add a celebration star on our beautiful Christmas tree with a special message for your loved one.
