Admin Volunteer (Fundraising Department)

Location: Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, 185 Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood, SE2 0GB

From our acclaimed Hospice Mini Marathon and our lively Colour Run Party to our enchanting Grotto, our fundraising events create memorable experiences for our supporters and much needed income for our end-of-life care.  The success of these events rely on meticulous administration and organisation.  

This is where you come in; we are looking for dedicated office admin volunteer to help us deliver our events in 2024 and beyond.  


 What you will be doing 

  • Answering phone queries   
  • Making phone calls to schools, nurseries, local businesses   
  • Updating our fundraising database  
  • Making up event registration packs  
  • Printing and preparing material for posting and for use at our events  
  • Supporting with event equipment preparation  
  • Full training will be provided 

The skills and qualities you need 

  • Computer literate – experience of using Microsoft packages like Outlook, Word and Excel would be ideal   
  • Confident and happy to speak to people on the phone   
  • Attention to detail   
  • Friendly and warm approach   
  • Trustworthy and reliable  
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently   
  • Good communication skills
