eCommerce – Product Lister

Volunteer Role Profile 

 

Volunteer Role: E-commerce – Product Lister 

Time commitment: One shift of 2 to 4 hours per week (or more if you have the time!) for a minimum of 3 months. Must be between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday

Volunteer Manager: Ata Kagan, Head of Ecommerce 

Where you will be based: Our e-commerce hub based at 16 Bellgrove Road, Welling, DA16 2RE  

Please note: You must be over 18 years old for this role.

Why we want you 

Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice have 15 shops across the boroughs. Some of the items donated to our shops are more suited to being sold online through sites like eBay, Vinted and DePop. By listing and selling items online you will help raise much needed funds for the hospice so that we can continue to support local people with life limiting illness.  

What you will be doing 

  • Take photos of donated items 
  • Use the internet to research product details and assign a value 
  • Write a clear description of the product 
  • Add the photo, description, and price of product to eBay, Vinted or DePop 
  • Liaise with Product Researcher volunteers via WhatsApp for help researching specialist items 

Full training will be provided. 

The skills and qualities you need 

  • Computer literate – experience of using eBay would be ideal but not essential 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Trustworthy and reliable
