Definitions: ‘You/your’ refer to the lottery player. ‘We/our/us’ refer to Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice Lottery Limited.

Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice Lottery Limited is licensed with the Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act 2005. We are also members of the Hospice Lotteries Association and The Lotteries Council. All profits from our lotteries go directly to Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice (Registered Charity 1017406).

Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice Lottery is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 8554.

To take part in our weekly lottery you must be a resident of Great Britain, be 18 years of age or over and agree to our full terms and conditions. If you fail to meet these criteria we reserve the right to refuse your application to play.

Our terms and conditions We may amend our terms and conditions from time to time. We do not notify players individually of changes, but an up-to-date copy will be available on our website at least 7 days before any changes take effect.

The draw normally takes place each Friday. We reserve the right, subject to holidays and unforeseen circumstances, to change the draw date. In the event that a draw is delayed it will take place as soon as possible and before the next weekly draw. Please note: Due to the Easter Bank Holiday on 7th April our weekly lottery draw was completed on Thursday 6th April.

How to play – you can choose to play regularly or to buy single tickets in one-off draws. To play weekly sign up online at Play online.  Once your application and payment has been processed, you will receive a new player pack containing your unique lottery number.

Player types – Plays can be individual, joint, gift, or syndicate (for full details of player types refer to our full terms & conditions).

Entries into a draw cost £1 each and must be paid in advance. If you miss a payment you never owe us money – your lottery number is not placed in the draw for the period missed.

Payment can be made by direct debit, debit card, cheque/postal order or cash, or by payroll deduction if your employer has joined our ‘play as you earn’ scheme.

Prizes – for regular players in our weekly draw, prizes will be sent out automatically by post, normally within 10 working days of the draw.   For details of the current prize structure and confirmation of the current weekly rollover prize, visit our website or call the Lottery Office.

How to check numbers: Winning numbers are available from the Lottery Office, on our website and in our Hospice shops.

Change of personal details – It is your responsibility to notify us if any of your details change. This is important as we issue letters and winners’ cheques to the name and address held on our database.

Cancellation – You may cancel your lottery play at any time by contacting the Lottery Office on 020 8320 5785 or lottery@gbch.org.uk

Complaints – if you have a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible. Complaints will be dealt with in accordance with our hospice complaints policy. In the event of a gambling complaint or dispute not being resolved, it will be referred to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service.

Responsible gambling – Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice promotes responsible gambling and has policies and procedures in place to protect the vulnerable.
