A new fundraising event for the hospice
For Christmas 2022 the hospice organised a new event for schools and nurseries in the local community to support the hospice.
As it was the first year for the Rudolph Run, we signed-up just a small number of schools and nurseries in the boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich to help us trial the event.
We supplied the schools and nurseries with a set of antlers and a red nose for each child to wear and a Santa suit for a member of staff to wear. The schools picked their own date, organised how they would like the children to take part and promoted the event to families.
We are very delighted to announce that our first ever Rudolph Run runs raised an amazing £12,000! We would like to say a very big thank you to the schools, nurseries and their families who took part and supported us.
